Jeffrey Armstrong holds the Jyotish Visharada and Jyotish Kovid CVA titles from the Council of Vedic Astrology and has been a Vedic astrologer for more than forty-five years. He is the founder of VASA — the Vedic Academy of Sciences & Arts — based in Vancouver, and is credited as the originator of the term 'Ayurvedic Astrology', having worked alongside Ayurvedic physicians since 1973. He received the ICCR Distinguished Indologist award in 2021.
